A Point of Sale (POS) can sell Insurance Policies on behalf of an Insurance Broking house


POS can sell selected Insurance products which includes Motor, Mediclaim, Personal Accident, Travel, Pure term Life Insurance with restriction in the limit of Sum Insured

Photo copies of the following documents are required:

1) Aadhaar (Front and Back)

2) PAN Card

3) Cancelled cheque leaf

4) Passport size Photo

5) Education certificate (Minimum 10th pass)

6) Mobile Number of the Point of Sale (POS)

7) E Mail i.d of the Point of Sale (POS)

8) Minimum 10th exam pass certificate

If you are already registered as a Point of Sale Person (POS) with any Insurance Company or any other Insurance broker you cannot register as POS with us. We will check the status through IIB

Under select Organization select “Alert Insurance Brokers Private Limited.” from the drop down

Once you have successfully completed your POS Training and Passed the exam you can forward your results to us by email so we can Issue a certificate and give you the access to issue retail Insurance policies as per IRDA POS regulations.
